Cronulla National Surfing Reserve was declared in September 2008 and is one of southern Sydney’s premier surf spots. The page is a service of Sutherland Shire Council. We hope you enjoy being part of our local beach and surfing culture.

Facebook Community Guidelines

Through its Facebook page, Cronulla National Surfing Reserve (CNSR) will provide information about initiatives, programs and news at the CNSR. We will use the page to engage with the community, answer questions, and foster discussion.

Operating our Facebook page
The CNSR page is maintained by Sutherland Shire Council's Active Communities team.

We support the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities http://www.facebook.com/terms.php
and related Facebook policies, and we request that visitors to our page to do the same.

Moderating our Facebook page
We welcome your comments and do not discriminate against any views.

Contributors may not:
• harrass, abuse or threaten other visitors to the site
• post comments that are likely to offend others, particularly in reference to an individual’s race, age, gender, sexuality, political leaning, religion or disability
• use obscene or offensive language
• post repeat comments continuously
• promote anything that may constitute spam, such as commercial interests, solicitations, advertisements or endorsements of for profit agencies
• reveal personal details such as email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses on the public wall without permission

If you don’t adhere to the above, we will moderate and potentially remove your comment.

If the content of a comment is personal in nature, or is affecting the enjoyment of the page for other visitors, we may remove it and take the discussion 'offline' into a private channel.
